January Figure Drawing

Join us at the Hancock House for a night of figure drawing. This will be a dedicated 2.5 hour drawing session. Erin will facilitate 30 sec, 1 min, 5 min and 20 min drawing periods for the period. The model will be dressed down to their comfort level.

Admission is sliding scale $20-25

There will be tea provided. 🍶
Feel free to bring snacks to share.

Masks encouraged. <3

BYO drawing materials, however we will have some if needed.

Wreath Workshop with florist Sam Searles

 

Join us for a wreath workshop with Sam Searles!

Sam is a florist and gardener with a background in environmental and botanical sciences. She believes becoming familiar with individual plants makes people more attentive to the intricacy and diversity of natural landscapes.

The majority of the materials Sam grew, harvested, and dried. At this workshop you will learn how to create long-lasting, natural floral pieces - perfect for home decor and gifts. You will come away with a floral or live wreath made with guidance from Sam!

All materials and refreshments are included in admission. Admission cost is $45.

Craft Cafe

Join us at Hancock House for a new series theme, CRAFT CAFE! Craft Cafe pairs espresso/cafe drinks from our espresso machine and a craft workshop.

The craft workshop is fabric scrap applique. Learn how to utilize fabric scraps to make patchwork art, spell things out, and dream up shapely art. We will teach you how to use a sewing machine for applique, as well as hand sewing. Bring a shirt/article of clothing and we will provide the rest of the materials.

The drink cost is donation based and Hancock House will donate 100% of profits to the Middle East Children’s Foundation.

Wreath - making workshop

Join us for our first workshop at the Hancock House! We are hosting a Wreath-making Workshop led by Sam Searles, a florist and landscaper. Sam will teach the basics of wreath-making and every participant will leave with the wreath they made. All materials are provided and mostly grown by Sam. Mulled wine is also included.
